B. Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your native actions (logging a meal, liking a restaurant) and usage frequency.

C. Financial Data

We do not store your credit card numbers or banking information. All financial transactions are handled by our payment processors, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We only receive a "receipt" token to verify your purchase status.

D. Mobile Device Access

We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s:

  • Camera & Photos: To allow you to capture and upload food logs.
  • Microphone: To allow you to record audio notes for your entries.
  • Location: To help you tag restaurants or venues in your diary.

2. How We Process Your Data

2.1. AI and Automated Processing The Service utilizes artificial intelligence (LLMs and Vision Models) to analyze user-uploaded images and audio to automatically identify dish names, ingredients, and flavor profiles without manual input.

2.2. Taste Vectors and Recommendations All user data, including dining history and ratings, is processed to generate a unique "Taste Vector." This vector is used to provide personalized insights and to match the user with other profiles having similar dining preferences for collaborative filtering and recommendation purposes.

2.3. Operational Uses We may also use information collected about you via the App to:

  1. Create and Manage Your Account: Facilitate account creation and logon processes.
  2. Improve Our Services: Use aggregated, anonymized food logs to train and improve our AI models.
  3. Communications: Send you a welcome email and notify you of updates or security alerts.
  4. Enforce Terms: Monitor against theft of service, fraud, or violations of our Terms and Conditions.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

6. Your Rights (Account Deletion)

In compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines:

  • Account Deletion: You may request to completely delete your account and all associated data at any time. This can be done directly within the App settings or by contacting us. Upon request, we will permanently remove your personal identifiers and content from our active databases.
